Built in 2022 by Rick and Linda Crosby, the House of Peace was created to welcome others into an atmosphere of rest, care, and God’s presence. A Bible placed in the foundation and prayer over the property reflect their desire for peace to fill every room and the experience of every guest.
Originally a home of family caregiving and hospitality—hosting more than 150 visitors in three years—it now serves as a retreat space where guests can be refreshed and encouraged.
Set on a serene acre in New River, Arizona, the home borders pristine desert filled with saguaros and cholla cacti. Quiet nights, star-filled skies, and evenings by the fire pit create the perfect setting to slow down and reconnect with God.

I’m happy to be the wife of Pastor Rowdy Van Horn of Jesus People Church, mommy to three awesome kids, and a Pastor. My heart is to release healing, power and freedom through my calling as wife, mother, teacher, visionary, author, artist, adventurer, intercessor, and friend.
Like you, I have walked through physical, spiritual, mental and emotional pain in this life. My greatest joy is to expedite your journey and lift and empower you over some of the pitfalls I’ve faced. My only obsession is Scripture—so I love to lead, teach, and train on prayer, walking in the Spirit, growing in your spiritual gifts, exercising your voice, enjoying healthy relationships, intimacy with the Godhead, playing well your position in the Kingdom, and changing the world—for starters!
